Polar Nephrite Jade from the Wolfrat vein of the Kutcho mine in British Columbia. Favored by lapidaries and sculptors, this flower jade is polished on all sides. The Wolfrat vein has played out. This piece was cut from a larger block used by famed Canadian sculptor, Lyle Sopel. Triangularly shaped.
